Glossary Item Box

Overview

Briefly describe the contents of the report and its purpose.

Custom terminology allows you to define the retail terminology used within your business. Once defined, terminology automatically appears on criteria forms and reports. For more information on defining custom terminology refer to the article Custom Terminology.

Criteria Form

Refer to the article Report Criteria Form Standard Field Operation for help with the standard criteria form fields.

The following table describes the operation of non-standard fields where appropriate.

Field Description
Report Date This date field indicates date for the report to be generated.
Number of Weeks This numeric entry field indicates number of previous weeks to be included in the report generated to Report Date entered.
Sort By This drop-down field allows the user to view the report by a variety of sorting options.
Asc/Desc This drop-down field defines if the rows will increase or decrease in the sort order. Asc stands for Ascending, while Desc stands for Descending.

Reports

Refer to the section Understanding the Intelligence Store Data for help with the standard values included in Retail Arena reporting.

The following table describes non-standard columns where appropriate.

Column Description
Avg Item This column shows the sales dollar value divided by the units for the given week. This figure gives the user the average sale price per item.
Productivity This column shows the Sales Dollar value divided by hours. This gives the retailer an idea of the employee sales level.  For example if Employee A had a productivity level of $239.  That would tell the user that Employee A makes on average $239 per hour.
ATV This column show the average transaction value.
UPT This column shows the units per transaction.

Level 1 Report - Showing the current Period and Previous Weeks

Level 2 Report - Showing the Number of Previous Weeks to Report Date

Level 3 Report - Employee Productivity Report

Level 4 Report - Total {Showing Every Transaction from the Number of Weeks to Report Date}
